Who are the builders in Avenue Downs?
Barlow Builders and Tennessee Valley Homes are the exclusive builders of this new, luxury Thompson’s Station neighborhood. Barlow Builders owns 20 of the 30 lots in Phase 1. Tennessee Valley Homes owns the remaining 10 lots.
Will either builder accept a contract now and build a custom or semi-custom home for a buyer?
Barlow Builders has chosen to build spec homes, which will be completed in 2022. They will price their spec homes and make them available to purchase, when they reach the drywall phase of construction, in 2022. Tennessee Valley Homes, on the other hand, is accepting contracts now on their 10 lots, giving their buyers the opportunity to customize the home from conception to completion.
How will Avenue Downs look and feel, once completed?
The homes in Avenue Downs will be large homes situated on roughly quarter acre lots and range in size from 3,700-4,4,00 sq. ft. All of the homes will have 2 car, front facing garages. There will be no amenities in Avenue Downs. However, many of their homesites back up to wooded areas, giving the homes a more private feel. The first home in Avenue Downs that went under contract recently was a Tennessee Valley Home, which went under contract for $1.1M or $270 per sq. ft.
